What protocols does the RTctrl ecosystem support?

RTctrl supports LumenRadio CRMX (wireless DMX), ArtNet, sACN (E1.31), wired DMX512, Bluetooth LE, and RDM. All protocols are accessible from both our hardware and software products.

Is the RTctrl 1U compatible with other CRMX receivers?

Yes. The RTctrl 1U transmitter is fully compatible with all LumenRadio CRMX-certified receivers, including those built into fixtures from ARRI, Aputure, Nanlux, Creamsource, and others.

What devices does the RTctrl app run on?

The RTctrl Lighting Control App runs natively on iPhone and iPad (iOS/iPadOS). It is designed for touch-based control with optimized layouts for both phone and tablet screens.

Does the 1U transmitter require external power?

No. The RTctrl 1U is bus-powered via USB-C. A single USB-C cable provides both power and data when connected to your iPad, Mac, or any USB-C host.

How many DMX channels can I control?

The RTctrl 1U supports 512 DMX channels (1 universe) via CRMX wireless. The RTctrl app supports multiple universes via ArtNet and sACN for larger setups.

What is the wireless range?

The CRMX wireless link achieves 300+ meters line of sight with the optional external antenna. With the internal PCB antenna, range is shorter but still excellent for typical on-set and venue use. Real-world range depends on the RF environment.

Do you ship internationally?
